World Water Day Recap

World Water Day was a huge success for M2535! We were able to raise enough money to purchase close to 500 water filters.  We are so thankful for all of you who donated, we look forward to giving families in poor communities clean water.

April Groups

We had two groups come down in April. God moved through the testimonies and devotionals shared in the Juvenile Detention Center as well as at the Men’s Rehab Center. Praise Jesus – 15 people prayed to receive Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. We are in the process of getting 100 bibles to the young men at the Juvenile Detention Center. Pray for them as they read scripture, that God’s word would become real to them and touch the lives of these boys.

Farm and Ministry Update

Grace Church in San Diego, California also spent time helping at the farm working on the Vocational Tech School. Big Bear Community Church brought a couple of skilled concrete workers who helped put up a retaining wall, sidewalks in the backside of the factory, a slab for the sanding station for the furniture, and the footings for the 3rd & 4th chicken coop.

In the spring we’ve had the opportunity to do a few VBS’s at public schools. One of our highlights is on Fridays we bring all the kids and teachers to the farm. They are able to take a tour and see the fish and how aquaponics works, the chickens and the goats. The kids love running with the goats! Each Friday the teachers have said how much they loved having VBS at their school and have loved having the opportunity to see the farm.

Prayer Requests

  • Please pray for us as we are hoping to finish the Technical School in the summer of 2018. Our hope is to have it up and running in September.
  • Pray for our team as we are preparing for the groups arriving June 2 through August 21.
  • Pray for wisdom for us, as we need to figure out some electrical issues for the furniture factory. The machinery needs to run off of 220, the solar and batteries at this time cannot support 220.  We either need to buy into the electrical grid or buy a large generator. Both cost a lot of money.
